We’re back with another edition of the Sui Developer Program, this time in Cluj-Napoca, bringing together a new wave of builders eager to explore what Web3 could offer.
After a fantastic experience in Timisoara, we were excited to see what will await us in Cluj! And the city did not disappoint. Participants arrived already comparing expectations, scanning the agenda, and asking questions before the workshop officially began. The outcome? A full house of curious students, junior devs, and passionate tech minds all eager to begin their journey into building on Sui.
The program was hosted at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, a space perfectly suited for hands-on learning and collaboration for the new generations of devs.

The two-day program was led by Alexandru Gazdac, who guided participants through the foundations of blockchain and a quick breakdown of core Sui concepts. understanding the mechanics behind them in real time.
By the second day, it was all hands on deck. Laptops opened, code editors fired up, and the room buzzed with focused determination. Groups combined together to debug and test out, exploring the full potential of building on Sui. Even in that quiet space, the intensity and determination were quite electric; everyone was eager to see their first smart contracts come to life.
When the session officially wrapped, conversations kept on flowing. A few even wanted to continue coding for another hour by themselves. New connections formed without needing icebreakers or forced conversations; it all happened naturally, the way builders prefer it.
The Result? A Cohort With Real Momentum
Cluj didn’t try to be the loudest stop of the Sui Dev Program, but it became one of the most grounded. A place where people didn’t just learn, but acknowledged. Where conversations weren’t rushed, and where understanding came from depth, not speed.
One of the highlights? The sheer number of people who showed up. A truly engaged, enthusiastic crowd that made the space feel alive and vibrant. It was a proud moment to see so many eager builders in one room, all diving in and supporting each other.
It added a new layer to the program: consistency, dedication, and the builder mindset that keeps pushing the ecosystem forward quietly, steadily, and with intent.
