Sui Developer Program at Bucuresti

Learning the Sui Way, Right in the Heart of the Capital

On the same day the Cluj cohort kicked off, Bucharest opened its doors for another Sui Developer session!

Razvan Statescu returned as head trainer, guiding another group of sharp students through Move fundamentals and core Sui concepts. Instead of make it feel like your typical weekend training, the session rapidly turned into a more productive flow where each participant found their pace and made real progress on their smart contract app.

A Room Full of People Ready to Push Forward

What stood out to us wasn’t intensity or pressure, but a kind of shared momentum between everyone present. Our trainer walked everyone through the blockchain and Move fundamentals at a pace that encouraged questions instead of rushing past them. People weren’t afraid to challenge an idea, or to add something of their own expertise to the class. It created this healthy back-and-forth that made this cohort feel more genuine and warm, pushing the boundaries of what we know to discover what we'd like to find out.

The room had that steady background buzz from groups comparing notes, helping each other debug, or simply trying to understand why a specific line of code wasn’t doing what they expected. It felt less like an event and more like a small community forming in real time. You could sense people realizing that they’re not learning this alone.

Building Confidence Through Practice

As the examples got more complex, the atmosphere shifted from curiosity into a sort of focused moment. Some were seeing Move syntax for the first time, others were already thinking about how to apply it to their future projects, but everyone kept moving forward with the explanations without that competitive tension bootcamps sometimes offer.

What made those days special wasn’t a big “wow” moment, it was the connections made right then. People helping each other out, staying patient with the material, doing their best in getting as much out of this cohort as possible while making new friendships along the way!

A Cohort That Left With More Than Notes

By the end, you could tell that participants weren’t leaving just with the theoretical idea of what their careers might look like. They left with a better sense of direction, a few more connections, and a clearer picture of where they'd like to contribute next. This cohort felt warm, grounded, and surprisingly cohesive for a group of people who had just met days earlier.

It was a good reminder that sometimes a strong developer community isn’t built through intensity or pressure, but through steady, honest learning sessions like this.

Learning with intention, building with purpose
