The event featured a panel with Daiana Marculescu, Cătălin Băluț, Alex Maleș, Anca Constantinescu, and Vlad Romulad. Their discussion provided detailed insights into Ethereum’s ecosystem, addressing key developments and challenges within the space. This panel was a significant part of the event, contributing to a deeper understanding of Ethereum’s role and its future prospects.

On July 30th, we hosted the Comets x ETH Community Event in Cluj, capping off the Ethereum Summer School with an engaging panel and networking session. This event brought together blockchain developers and enthusiasts from across Romania, creating a valuable space for discussing key trends in Ethereum and the broader web3 ecosystem.

The event was an excellent opportunity for networking, with attendees exchanging ideas and exploring collaborations. It ended with a social gathering, strengthening connections within Romania’s growing blockchain community.

This event continues to position Cluj as a key hub for blockchain innovation, and we’re eager to see the exciting developments that emerge from the conversations and partnerships sparked during this gathering.

Among the blockchain builders at the event was Dan Rotar, one of the winners of the Hackathon, who presented his team's project during Demo Day. Their project, focused on a "Rent a Car" platform, showcased an innovative approach to integrating blockchain technology into car rentals, emphasizing how decentralized systems can streamline and secure vehicle-sharing services.

We also met George Pop, a recent graduate of ETH Summer School, who showcased his project "Rocket-checker" with his team. This supply chain project leverages NFTs for product authentication, using blockchain technology to ensure the authenticity of items like Jordan shoes, tees, and more. By assigning NFTs to each product, the platform creates a unique identifier that provides a transparent, immutable record of its origin and ownership, adding an extra layer of security to the supply chain.
