Best Blockchain Community, Here's Who Actually Earned It.
The builders made this happen. The award just made it official.

What the CEE Awards Represent
The CEE Awards Gala is one of the most anticipated evenings in the Crypto Expo Europe calendar, bringing together founders, investors, developers, and industry leaders from across Central and Eastern Europe for an evening dedicated to recognizing genuine contribution to the space. With hundreds of attendees across the conference and over 200 leaders present at the gala itself, the awards carry real weight in the regional ecosystem.
Being selected for Best Blockchain Builders Community in that context is meaningful in a specific way. The Central and Eastern European blockchain scene has grown significantly over recent years, and the organizations recognized at these awards are ones that have played an active role in shaping it. The category does not reward size alone. It rewards depth, consistency, and impact on the people building within the ecosystem. That framing reflects exactly what Comets has always tried to prioritize.
A Night to Remember
At this year's CEE Awards Gala, held at the Radisson Blu in Bucharest during Crypto Expo Europe, Comets was named Best Blockchain Builders Community. In a room of over 200 industry leaders drawn from across the region and beyond, our name was called, and for a moment, everything the community has built over the past years felt like it landed in one place at once.
Awards ceremonies can feel distant from the day to day work of running a community. The workshops, the late night calls, the programs that kept running even when the timing was bad, none of that is visible from a stage. But sometimes recognition arrives and it genuinely reflects something true. This one did. It was not just a trophy for an organization. It was acknowledgment that the builders, mentors, and members who make up Comets have been doing something that actually matters, and that the broader industry is starting to take notice.
A Community build by its People
Comets did not grow because of a single launch moment or a viral campaign. It grew because thousands of people decided it was worth their time, and then kept deciding that, month after month, across six countries and multiple market cycles.
Developers joined to sharpen their skills and ended up becoming mentors. Founders came looking for collaborators and found an entire network. Designers, researchers, and Web3 professionals who had been building in relative isolation discovered a community that understood what they were working on and cared about helping them go further. That kind of organic growth does not happen by accident. It happens when the underlying thing is genuinely useful and genuinely human.
Through bear markets and bull runs, Comets kept its programs running. Workshops continued when the headlines were grim. Hackathons brought teams together when nobody was talking about hiring. Mentorship initiatives connected people who had no obvious way to find each other otherwise. The work was not always visible from the outside, but inside the community, it built something with real staying power.
This Award belongs with the COMETS Community
The trophy has a home now, but it was never really ours to claim alone. It belongs to every builder who joined when the community was still finding its shape, every mentor who gave their time without being asked twice, every person who showed up to an event, shared what they knew, helped a stranger debug something at midnight, or simply stayed when things were quiet and the work felt uncertain.
Best Blockchain Builders Community is the category on the award. What it actually represents is something harder to put into words: the collective decision, made by thousands of people over years, to build something worth belonging to. That decision is what Comets is made of.
To everyone who has been part of this community, thank you. This recognition is a reflection of you, and we do not take that lightly. What comes next is built on everything you have already given, and we are grateful for every bit of it.
