Blockchain Builders Meetup in Budapest
On 30th October, Comets of Web3 brought a fresh spark to Budapest with a new Blockchain Builders Meetup! We crossed the border once again to expand our Web3 community, to share insights with builders and to get the blockchain idea going.

A Night that Moved Fast
Budapest welcomed the Comets of Web3 community with the kind of atmosphere that makes meetups feel more like reunions than first encounters. Conversations started before the microphones turned on, and the energy settled into that perfect mix of curiosity and “let’s build something.”
The plan wasn’t to host another rigid tech gathering, it was to spark conversations that feel as natural as sharing a drink with old friends. Together with Sui Foundation and SunDAO, we set the tone for an evening that blended curiosity, collaboration, and that unmistakable Central European warmth.

Why Everyone Showed Up
The focus of the evening was on Comets, Sui, and the rising builder communities taking shape across Central and Eastern Europe. But what started as a simple presentation quickly turned into an open exchange where everyone had the chance to ask questions, share experiences, and offer perspectives grounded in real situations.
Many came not just to learn, but to meet others on the same path and build relationships that extend beyond a frugal social interaction. Gatherings like this show us how much stronger the ecosystem becomes when people get the chance to meet in-person; even if decentralization may define the technology, it’s the human connections that give it direction and meaning.
Leaving an Impression on the City
Budapest showed once again that when the right people gather in the same room, an explosion takes place. Ideas move quicker, conversations go deeper, and new collaborations start forming almost instantly. It’s the kind of environment that pushes builders forwardnot because of the presentations, but because of the people standing next to them, ready to exchange knowledge and share the same drive.
As we continue bringing these meetups to more cities, we’re doubling down on what matters most: creating spaces where talent meets opportunity, and where builders can find the momentum they don’t always get online.
If you’re looking to grow, connect, or simply be part of something that’s genuinely moving the ecosystem forward, keep an eye out for the next meetup. You’ll want to be in the room.
